Mr. Stephen Eugene Branstetter of Warrenton passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2022, at the age of 63 years. He was born on August 18, 1959, in Louisiana, MO, to Bobby and Frances (nee: Orf) Branstetter.
Stephen loved woodworking and golfing. He worked for a time at the local golf course, where he made many friends. He was an avid Arkansas Razorback football and St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan, watching as many games as he could. Stephen had a special bond with his dog, Abbott, who he loved very much. Stephen was dedicated to his family and enjoyed spending time with his mother and siblings. They enjoyed hunting together at the family farm. Stephen was most recently employed at the Warren County Sheltered Workshop. He had made many friends there. Stephen was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend to many.
Stephen Branstetter was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Gene Branstetter; and one sister-in-law, Susan Branstetter. Those who will remain grateful for having shared in Stephen's life are his loving mother, Frances Branstetter; three siblings, Diane Hafner and husband Joe, Doug Branstetter, and Donna Wade and husband David; nieces and nephews, Colby Ezell and wife Susan, Ashley Ezell, Jason Branstetter, Andrew Branstetter, and Katelyn Wade; other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. with a memorial mass to immediately follow.
