Ten area track and field athletes will compete in at least one event at Friday and Saturday’s track and field meet. All track events will consist of a preliminary race Friday. If the athletes qualify for the finals in their competition, they will compete Saturday. Eight athletes in each running event will compete in the finals. The field events will be held either Friday or Saturday.
The track and field schedule for local athletes can be found below. The state track and field meet will be held at Adkins Stadium at Jefferson City High School. The state track and field meet this weekend will include Classes 3-5.

Jeremiah Davis (Wright City)- Class 3 100-meter dash prelim, 12:15 p.m.
Wright City Boys 4x200-meter relay- Class 3 prelim, 12:50 p.m.
Morgan Marschel (Warrenton)- Class 4 400-meter dash prelim, 2:30 p.m.
Jeremiah Davis (Wright City)- Class 3 400-meter dash prelim, 2:50 p.m.
