State Rep. Bryan Spencer was recognized by a national organization for his conservative voting record during the past legislative session. The American Conservative Union Foundation (ACUF) this month presented Spencer, a Republican from Wentzville, with a Conservative Achievement certificate for his “tireless service to restore freedom” and for his consistent voting in accordance with the ideals housed in the U.S. Constitution.“It is truly an honor to be recognized, and to represent Missourians each and every day while standing proudly for their conservative principles,” Spencer said. “I would like to thank the ACUF, as well as my constituents, for the faith and trust they have placed in me, as well as the opportunity to stand for a limited and transparent government, personal responsibility, individual rights, and conservative values.”Each year, the ACUF works with their policy centers and fellows to analyze each vote to create scorecards which rank legislators based on their commitment to the conservative political philosophy.
