State Rep. Bryan Spencer needs help recognizing the efforts of outstanding senior citizens in the 63rd District.Spencer has until March 28 to submit nominations to Lt. Gov. Mike Kehoe for the annual Senior Service Awards and is asking area residents to help him spotlight seniors whose service and dedication to their communities has made a positive difference.“This is a wonderful opportunity to honor an outstanding senior citizen that you may know in our district,” said Spencer. “I encourage constituents to contact my office with recommendations for senior citizens whose service has made a positive difference in our community.”The Lieutenant Governor’s Senior Service Award was instituted in 2005 to promote and highlight the positive accomplishments Missouri’s senior citizens have made in their local communities. The deadline for nominations is March 28.Winners will be announced April 5. Each winner will receive an official declaration from Lt. Gov. Kehoe and an invitation to the award banquet in the state Capitol on May 6.
