The National Association of Letter Carriers, the United States Postal Service and other partners are asking the people of Warrenton, Truesdale and Jonesburg to help with the Stamp Out Hunger campaign.The annual food drive will be held Saturday, May 14.Citizens are asked to leave a bag of nonperishable food items by their mailbox if they wish to participate.Letter carriers will collect the items and deliver them to local food banks.Last year, 70.6 million pounds of food were donated through the campaign, and over 1.4 billion pounds have been donated since the campaign began in 1993.For more information, visit www.feedingamerica.org.Stamp Out Hunger
