Melinda Thompson, 64, of St. Peters, was traveling west on the South Outer Road of Interstate 70 east of Market Street on the afternoon of Oct. 26 when she attempted to make a U-turn.
Shane Gregory, 22, of Warrenton, was traveling east on the outer road at the same time and collided with Thompson when she attempted her U-turn, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Both were riding Harley Davidson motorcycles.
Thompson's motorcycle overturned and she was thrown from the bike. She was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital Lake St. Louis by the Warren County Ambulance District.
Gregory did not report any injuries in the accident.
