ST. CHARLES COUNTY — Area flooding has forced the closure of Indian Camp Creek Park and the Historic Daniel Boone Home in St. Charles County. The two parks have been made inaccessible due to high water, the county Parks and Recreation Department said.
Heavy rain caused Indian Camp Creek to overflow over the weekend, spilling water over the main road into Indian Camp Creek Park near Wentzville. High water on Highway F covered the road near Defiance, making it impossible to access the Historic Daniel Boone Home, just south of the flooding.
For the safety of park staff and guests, both parks will be closed until further notice. For more information about park closures, view the county's Rainout Line online at www.stccparks.org.
