Warrenton overcame a 1-0 deficit to beat Incarnate Word Wednesday in the state quarterfinals. Makayla Witthaus and Maddisyn Hoelscher both hit RBI singles in the seventh inning to send Warrenton to the state semifinals. Warrenton will square off against Kearney next week in the state semifinals in Springfield.
