Beginning at 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 30, crews with the Improve I-70 Warrenton to Wentzville Project will close the right shoulder of eastbound I-70 at mile marker 193.2, near Warrenton, west of Route 47, for slide repair work to stabilize the existing roadway slope. The shoulder closure is scheduled to remain in place until the spring of 2026.
Work will occur during daytime hours with no impacts to traffic, but periodic overnight lane reductions for material delivery will be necessary. All work is weather permitting.
This work is part of the Improve I-70 Warrenton to Wentzville Project covering the eastern portion of I-70. It was awarded in November 2024. Construction is set to continue through 2028.
