The four suspects charged with felony offenses are Dayress K. Snydor, 26, Wright City, Travis L. Paul, 21, Marthasville, Brian M. Bove, 31, Wright City, and Kimberly S. Cole, 19, Warrenton. The other four suspects were issued summonses for misdemeanor offenses and released. Harrison said search warrants were executed last Thursday, June 11, by deputies with assistance from the East Central Drug Task Force. Officers began the day at 6 a.m. and concluded their work at 9 p.m. Some of the items seized by officers, according to Harrison, included more than $1,100 in currency, an illegal shotgun, powder cocaine, crack cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and prescription pills. "I think this was a huge success," Harrison said. "We have been receiving a lot of complaints from residents in some of these areas on what they believe to be drug activity. It's always frustrating for these residents when I tell them we are aware of it and these things take time. "Until we can make a case and prove a case, there's not much we can do. I think this was an eye opener for some parts of the community." Harrison acknowledged the locations where the search warrants were executed had been investigated for some time. He said the suspects were not connected in any way, noting his department "hit all four corners of the county." Arrests were made in the 100 block of Highway J and Westwood Apartment complex, both in Wright City, the 20000 block of Paul Road outside Marthasville, 2000 block of Golden Vicary in Warrenton, and Cedar Grove off Highway U outside of Warrenton. "The drug problems we have in this county are not isolated to any part of this county," Harrison remarked. "It's not a Warrenton or Wright City or a specific apartment complex. It's a true countywide problem." Snydor was charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute. Officers found approximately 8 grams of powder cocaine and 8 grams of crack cocaine at his house on Highway J. When officers arrived at Paul's residence, they allegedly found just over 5 grams of marijuana, various drug paraphernalia and $1,136 in currency. Paul admitted to officers that he had been selling marijuana. He has been charged with the intent to distribute. During a search of Bove's apartment in Wright City, officers discovered $180 worth of marijuana packaged in 14 individual bags. Bove was charged with the intent to distribute. Residue found at Cole's residence on Golden Vicary was identified as powder cocaine following a field test by police. Bonds have been set at $25,000 for Paul, Bove and Snydor. Cole's bond was set at $10,000. The individuals who were charged with misdemeanors were: Lee Wheeler, 21, Wright City, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia; Maranda Timmermeier, 19, Warrenton, possession of drug paraphernalia; Cynthia Howard, 43, Warrenton, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia; and Brady Howard, 45, Warrenton, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Harrison noted that all the suspects were taken into custody without any incidents.
