Ms. Sharon Elaine Owens, of New Haven, formally of Warrenton, MO., entered eternal rest on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at her home. She was born on September 30, 1954 to the late Richard and Martha Owens. Sharon had reached the age of 67 years.
Sharon worked for many years at the Beacon Shoe factory in Jonesburg, MO. She loved holidays with her family. She especially enjoyed cooking the holiday meals for her family. Sharon enjoyed going to the casino with her family and also enjoyed stopping at the bar after a day at work. She enjoyed watching games show on TV while she was at home. She was a very dedicated Grandmother to her grandchildren. Sharon was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.
Sharon Owens was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Martha; son, Justin Owens; two grandchildren, Stephanie Gillette and Nicholas Hollaway; 8 siblings, Shirley Moore, Willer Mae Day, Mary Owens, Melba Mae Edwards, Wilford Owens, Pearl Owens, Paul Owens, Irvin Owens; brother in laws, Glen Dierker, Eugene Day: sister in law Marilyn Owens. Surviving family members who will remain grateful for having shared in Sharon's life are her children, Susan Gillette (Dale Brooks), Donna Walker (Jon), Jessie Gillette (Terri), Steven Owens (Crystal), Curtis Owens; 11 grandchildren, Tasha, Nakeah, Malachi, Jessie, Adrian, Demetrus, Steven, Cierra, Curtis, Kierra, Tayshon; 2 great grandchildren, Nora and Jessie; 2 sisters, Daisy Owens and Susie Dierker; Aunt, Daisy Mozee; Brother in laws, Charlie Edwards and Clifford Moore; other relatives and many friends.
A Celebration of Sharon's life will be held on Monday, October 11, 2021, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 PM also at the funeral home.
