A man from Troy is being held at the Warren County Jail in lieu of a $200,000 bond following an accusation of sexual abuse.Jonathan L. Larocca, 32, was arrested March 23 by Wright City police. He is charged with first-degree sexual abuse, a Class C felony, for alleged actions on Feb. 26.According to a police report, the victim in the case said she had been drinking and passed out in a bed at a residence on Kerland Drive in Wright City. She stated the last thing she remembered was Larocca walking into the room and removing the blanket from her.A witness who was at the residence later told police Larocca forcefully touched the victim while she told him no, according to the police report. The witness alleged Larocca uncovered his genitals and sat on top of the victim while she struggled.Police said a text message conversation between the witness and Larocca showed the witness accusing him of the acts, to which he allegedly replied “Lol prove it.”Larocca was arraigned March 28 in Warren County Circuit Court. His next hearing is April 18.Larocca has previously been convicted of a 2009 statutory rape charge in Troy involving a 16-year-old victim, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Sex Offender Registry.Online court records indicate a seven-year prison sentence against Larocca in that case was suspended in favor of five years of state supervised probation. He completed the probation in 2014.
