SEVERE WEATHER OUTLOOK:Aegis Emergency Management reports that the Storm Prediction Center has indicated a MODERATE risk of severe weather development for Thursday, April 3, across a large portion of the lower Mississippi and western Tennessee valleys - attached image courtesy of the National Weather Service.The most likely time period for storm development appears to be Thursday afternoon and evening, although earlier development is not out of the question.The area identified for most likely development includes most of southern and eastern Missouri, the western portions of Tennessee, Mississippi, and Kentucky, southwestern Illinois, northern Louisiana, and all of Arkansas.Damaging winds, large hail, and tornadoes are all threats associated with this event.Additionally, a slight threat for severe weather development exists today for all or parts of the states of Mo, IL, AR, KS, OK, TX, LA, MS, TN, KY, and IA, and Thursday for the area surrounding the center of moderate risk and extending from the Gulf Coast northeastward into Ohio and Indiana.Severe Weather Warning
