Felony drug possession and child endangerment are among the charges filed against seven people arrested during warrant searches Dec. 19 and 20.Warren County sheriff’s deputies arrested Karry A. Henson, 31, and Paul R. Whetton, 36, for possession of a controlled substance, endangering the welfare of a child, possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor possession of marijuana, according to circuit court documents.Deputies served a search warrant at Henson and Whetton’s residence at the 24000 block of Township Line Road on Dec. 19. Three children, ages 4, 7 and 9, were living in the home. The deputies located what they identified as marijuana and a small bag of material that field tested positive as methamphetamine, court documents state.Deputies reported finding used syringes and other items consistent with the use of narcotics in the residence. Court documents also noted unsanitary living conditions in-house, including animal feces in piles or smeared on floors throughout the home, as well as trash scattered across the floor.Five ArrestedWright City police served a search warrant Dec. 20, and arrested five people in the 30 block of Clarence Drive. All five were arrested on drug charges and two were also booked on child endangerment charges.Shalisa L. Levin, 24, and Kurt W. Green, 25, are charged with possession of a controlled substance, endangering the welfare of a child, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to court documents.Two others, Sharon K. Levin, 52, and William L. Schierbaum, 47, were arrested at the residence on the same drug charges. Ellen E. Bennett, 26, was arrested at the residence for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.Wright City police served a search warrant at the residence at 9:14 a.m. During the search they found a digital scale, needles, bags and spoons that field tested positive for methamphetamine and heroin. Officers also found what they identified as marijuana.During the search, Shalisa Levin was located in bed with her 6-year-old child. A syringe inside a wallet was found in a nightstand within reach of the bed and easily accessible, according to the report. A plastic grinder reportedly containing marijuana was located on top of the nightstand.The seven suspects have arraignments scheduled for Jan. 11.Whetton has a previous misdemeanor conviction for marijuana possession.Drug bustWilliam L.
