Services have been set for Jerry Dyer, former Warrenton mayor and longtime educator.
Dyer passed away Saturday, Jan. 24. He was 68.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Jan. 27, from 1-8 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. A memorial service will be held Wednesday Jan. 28, at 3 p.m. at the Warrenton Elks Lodge
Dyer served as mayor from April 2012 to October 2014. He resigned for health reasons.
He also taught and coached in Warrenton for 13 years until leaving to become principal at Wright City High School. He also spent over 30 years as an agent for Shelter Insurance in Warrenton.
