One man was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis after reportedly suffering serious injury in a crash on Highway B west of Pendleton Thursday evening.
A Ford F250 driven by Leroy E. Rood, 80, of Hermann, reportedly traveled off the right side of the road and struck a tree 1 mile southwest of Scudder Ranch Road, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol. The crash happened just after 7 p.m.
Rood reportedly was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
