Two people were taken to hospitals Wednesday, April 1, after a head-on vehicle collision on North Stringtown Road.
The crash happened just south of Heiliger Hill a little before 4:30 p.m., according to a Missouri Highway Patrol report.
A 2002 GMC Sierra, driven by Eugene E. Cravens, 55, of Troy, allegedly crossed the center line while driving south, according to the patrol. The truck collided with a northbound 2019 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Patricia L. Peters, 65, of Foristell.
Cravens was flown from the scene to Mercy Hospital St. Louis, the highway patrol said. Peters was taken by ambulance to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis.
The highway patrol said both drivers were wearing seat belts. No other injuries were reported.
