Two men were airlifted to hospitals on the night of Christmas, Dec. 25, after a crash in Warren County that threw one of them from the vehicle.Austin E. Kolkmeyer, 21, and Dylan R. Hagar, 21, were both seriously injured, according to a preliminary report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The crash happened at 11:30 p.m. on the North Outer Road west of Stracks Church Road.Kolkmeyer, of O’Fallon, was airlifted to Barnes Jewish Hospital, the patrol said. Hagar, of Lake St. Louis, was flown to Mercy Hospital St. Louis.The highway patrol stated Kolkmeyer was driving the vehicle, a 2003 Ford Focus, when it drove off the left side of the roadway, overturned and ejected Hagar from the vehicle. Hagar reportedly was not wearing a seat belt.The night of the crash, highway patrol investigators issued another report stating Kolkmeyer is suspected of driving while intoxicated.Crash
