The driver of this 2008 Chevrolet Silverado escaped serious injuries and was treated at the scene after witnesses said the pickup did a 180-degree flip in the air after traveling off westbound Interstate 70 last Friday, Sept. 25. According to witnesses, Branon was traveling in the left lane on I-70 following an 18-wheeler when he attempted to return to the right lane. At the same time, the 18-wheeler went to change lanes, struck Branon's vehicle and sent the truck off the roadway. No other injuries were reported. The accident around 3:30 p.m. caused I-70 traffice to be backed up for a couple of miles.
