Weather permitting, Thursday, July 24, MoDOT and its contractors, Chester Bross Construction of Hannibal, will begin work to seal coat a little over three and a half miles on Route TT from Route T in St. Charles County to MO 94 at Dutzow in Warren County.Traffic will be reduced to one lane from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. through the work zone with a pilot car leading motorists safely through the work zone. Signs will be in place at intersections and driveways to alert motorists to wait on the pilot car; if you proceed without waiting or go the opposite way, you may be in the path of oncoming traffic or construction equipment. Fresh oil and cinders may be present at various locations along the roadway. Construction equipment will be entering and exiting the work zone. Delays of 5 to 10 minutes should be expected; motorists are urged to use alternate routes during these times. All lanes will be open to traffic at the end of the workday.All roadwork is posted on the traveler information map. Those traveling and the commuting public are encouraged to check the online map at www.modot.org daily for new work zones.
