Area residents curious about what the inside of the Schowengerdt House in Warrenton looks like now have the opportunity to step back in time and visit this historic gem.
Tours will now be available every third Wednesday of each month beginning at 1 p.m. by appointment only. To schedule a tour, call the Warren County History Museum at (636) 456-3820 during office hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, or leave a voicemail. If you would like to make a tour appointment for another day, call or email museum@warrencountymohistory.com.
Cost is $10 per adult, with children 12 and under admitted free.
The Warren County Historical Society Museum and its Research Library are also announcing a change to public hours:
• Tuesdays, 1-4 p.m.
• Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• First, second and third Fridays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
