Wright City and Warren County school districts are closing early today, Thursday, Jan. 11, and cancelling all after-school activities due to inclement weather.In Wright City R-II, the middle school will release students at 12:30, the high school will release at 12:43, West Elementary will release at 1:35, and East Elementary will release at 1:55.All Warren County R-III schools will be dismissed at 2 p.m. The school districts began notifying parents with messages sent around 11:30 this morning.Rain between noon and 2 p.m. is expected to be followed by a sharp, 30-degree temperature drop later this afternoon, according to Accuweather.
