Wright City Parents as Teachers is hosting developmental screening sessions for children 3-5 years old 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, at Wright City East Elementary School, 3675 W. Meyer Road, Foristell.The screening is open to children 3-5 years of age who must be living in the Wright City R-II School District.This is a standardized assessment of skills for the DIAL-4 screening. It measures child development in the areas of speech and language pre-academics, fine and gross motor, personal-social, hearing and vision.A parent educator will administer the screening and share the results. They will discuss developmental progress, developmental expectations and share learning activities that can be done at home.Screenings are by appointment only. Parents should allow 1½ hours for the screening. Call 636-463-2710 to schedule appointment.
