A stretch of Route Y in Warren County will close for up to 50 days beginning Monday, July 6, at 8 a.m.MoDOT and its contractor, Don Schnieders Excavating Company, Inc., will close the road at the bridge over Bear Creek. The deck is being replaced and it will take almost two months to complete. While the road is closed, drivers are asked to use alternate routes.The cost of the project is $386,724. The new deck will be 2 feet wider than the existing bridge deck.The same contractor will be replacing the bridge on Route J over Indian Camp Creek in Warren County and will redeck the bridge on Route J over Coon Creek in Lincoln County starting in mid-August. These bridges will be worked on simultaneously and are expected to be completed by Nov. 15.MoDOT
