Mrs. Rosemary Dina Kennedy (nee: Gross) of Wright City, MO., passed away peacefully early on Monday, December 7, 2020, at her home. She was born on December 8, 1930, in St. Louis, to the late Robert and Eleanor (nee: Eschelbach)Gross. Rosemary had reached the age of 89 years 11 months and 29 days.

Rosemary was a faithful volunteer. She volunteered at the CEF Mailbox Club for several years and also taught Sunday School at Tower Grove Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Wentzville. She also was involved with “Joni and Friends” where she did sewing for wheelchair cushions and bags. Rosemary also enjoyed going on trips with her church family.

Rosemary Kennedy was preceded in death by her parents; Robert and Eleanor, one daughter; Rose Kennedy, four siblings; Robert Gross, Dorothy Mann, Donald Gross, and Raymond Gross. Grateful for having shared in her life are her children; Diana Kennedy and Dennis Kennedy and wife Mildred, five grandchildren; Kim Horne, Vickie Horne, Linda Quick and husband Matt, Dennis Kennedy Jr., Timothy Kennedy, and wife Michelle, five great-grandchildren; Kristie, Brandon, Brandie, Destiny, Zefire, and two great-great-grandchildren, one brother; William Gross and wife Marie.

A Celebration of Rosemary’s life will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2020, at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton, 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. A funeral service will also be on Thursday at the funeral home, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the family of Rosemary Kennedy, c/o Martin Funeral Home, 510 East Main Street, Warrenton, MO 63383.
