Robert "Bob" Overstreet passed away on April 23, at the age of 84.
He was the beloved husband of Faye Overstreet nee Kruel of Wentzville; He is survived by his wife; son, Todd (Nancy) Overstreet of Augusta; daughter, Jill (Ronald) Miller of Wentzville; grandchildren, Katie, Annie, Kyle, Clayton (Haley), and Nick; great-grandchildren, Thomas and Georgia; He is preceded in death by his father, Eugene Overstreet, and mother, Margaret Overstreet nee Sutter.
Bob proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was a partner in the Wright City Gun Club. He enjoyed farming, bartending, and selling real estate. Most of all, he enjoyed trap shooting. Bob loved his wife and family and his greatest joy was spending time with them and participating in their lives and hobbies. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be dearly missed by many family and friends.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, April 26, from 2:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, in Wentzville. The funeral will be held Thursday, April 27, at 10 a.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, in Wentzville with a burial at Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Charles. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
