Weather permitting, Tuesday, May 28, and Wednesday, May 29, crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will remove portions of the surface on Highway 47 from Fairgrounds Road to Route M in Warrenton. Maintenance crews will remove high areas of the existing pavement to provide a smoother traveling surface. The work is being done in preparation for future resurfacing operations. Traffic will be reduced to one lane from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day with an 11-foot width restriction through the work zone. Motorists are urged to be alert for equipment entering and exiting the work zone, and to use caution and obey all road construction signs. MoDOT image
