The Elks Lodge No. 2662 in Warrenton is hosting the first “Stacey Saak” Riding For A Cure Poker Run and Bike Show Saturday, Aug. 4.The event will benefit the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life of Warren County.It is in honor of Jonesburg resident Stacey Saak, who has battled recurring bouts of cancer.Registration for the poker run starts at 9 a.m. at the Hideout in Warrenton, where breakfast will be available. The poker run then moves to the Downtown Pub and Grill from 10:30-11:30 a.m., the VFW in Hawk Point from noon to 1 p.m. and Cliff and Ellas at 1:15 p.m., where lunch will be available.Bikes need to arrive at the Warrenton Elks Lodge at 3 p.m.The cost is $20 per bike, which includes the cost of the bike show, $5 per car and $5 per poker card.Registration for the bike show is from 3-4 p.m. and is $10 per bike or included in the poker run price.Saak will be speaking at 4:30 p.m. at the Elks Lodge. Cancer survivors will be honored.Bike judging is at 7 p.m. Tickets for judging are $1 or six for $5.RSVP by text to 636-734-8021.Organizers say this will be a yearly event.Motorcycle Fest
