Resurfacing on about five miles of the outer road of Interstate 70 west of Warrenton will begin later next week and continue until the end of April.MoDOT and its contractor will begin setting signs up for the work zone on Wednesday, April 8, weather permitting. Route H at Wright City between the outer road and Route M will be resurfaced during that time, as well. Pace Construction was the successful bidder on both projects, which total about seven miles of road surface, for $638,860.The road will be one lane while under construction, and motorists will be taken through the work zone by following a pilot car.Work will be done between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. during the week, unless a weekend is needed due to weather.Daily and weekly road work by county is available at www.modot.org/northeast and all work zones are listed on the traveler information map at http://www.modot.org/.MoDOT
