Registration is open but space is limited for the next Hunter Education Skills class being held in Wright City.The class is offered by the Missouri Department of Conservation and will be held Saturday, Feb. 11, from 9 to 1 p.m. in the activity building at Diekroeger Brothers Park, 13410 East Veterans Memorial Parkway, Wright City.This skills session will satisfy part two of Missouri Hunter Education requirements. To obtain hunter education certification participants must also attend part one (an online, self-study, or a classroom session) and bring along the skills session qualifier certificate or a student manual with the review questions completed.Students 15 and under must also bring a copy of their birth certificate or other proof of age.The final exam will be administered at the end of the skills session.Students need to arrive at least 15 minutes before the beginning of the class to complete registration. Late arrivals will not be admitted.The session instructor is Robert A. Mallery. All registrants for this event must be 11 years old by Feb. 11. In the event of a cancellation, people who registered will be contacted by email and/or phone.
