Register to vote now for coming elections

As the Aug. 2 primary and the Nov. 8 general elections approach, Warren County Clerk Denise Stotler is urging citizens to complete or update their voter registration as soon as possible.

If you have moved to Warren County from another county or state, you must register to vote in Warren County. You must also update your registration if you have moved from one address to another within the county.

You can register or update your voter registration in person at the Warren County Administration Building, 101 Mockingbird Lane, Suite 302, Warrenton; by mail (call 636-456-3331 to request a form); or online at www.sos.mo.gov. Mailed registration cards must be received by the clerk’s office before the deadline in order to vote. Deadlines for registration are roughly four weeks before the election.

The clerk’s office does not send out reminders before each election, so be sure to read the newspaper’s legal notice section to know when and where to vote, and to be informed about what items are on the ballot in each election.

To check your registration status, call the Warren County Clerk at 636-456-3331, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Call early to avoid any problems on election day.

Elections, Warren County Clerk
