The Warren County Record newspaper won first place for Best Online Newspaper or Website in the 2017 Missouri Better Newspaper Contest sponsored by the Missouri Press Association and the Missouri Press Foundation.
The weekly newspaper releases daily online coverage about news and events throughout Warren County. It won in the Weeklies category for the award.
The Best Online Newspaper or Website award recognizes originality, graphic appeal, ease of use, the availability of local content, advertising and overall utility of news websites. The award was presented Saturday, Sept. 30, at the 151st MPA convention, held in Springfield.
