The Warren County R-III Board of Education voted to restructure the school district’s transportation department during its February meeting.With the current transportation coordinator retiring, Director Kevin Pirrung asserted that it is in the department’s best interest to make adjustments in an effort to continue providing quality service to students. This will mean the current administrative assistant moving into the role of transportation coordinator and adjusting the router and training manager’s contract from 205 to 261 days a year.Pirrung said the adjustment will allow the district to add a permanent morning and afternoon substitute bus driver and eliminate the administrative assistant position.School bus
