Public salaries: Marthasville, Truesdale, Innsbrook

The Warren County Record is continuing its ongoing series reporting the annual salaries of those who work for tax-funded public entities.

This week, we are reporting on the municipalities of Marthasville, Truesdale and Innsbrook.

Salaries in this report were compiled through budget documents and information from city staff members. Staff rosters are separated by city and organized alphabetically by job title.

Employees with the same job title are grouped together. This report gives the number of employees in the group, followed by the salary paid to each employee.

CITY OF MARTHASVILLE

Salary information provided by city of Marthasville staff. The budgeted payroll for part-time positions are estimates of anticipated payment.

Aldermen: Four aldermen, $1,800.

Assistant clerk, part time: $20,000.

City Clerk: $36,000.

Custodian, part time: $3,600.

Grass cutter, part time: Two employees, $12,500.

Mayor: $2,700.

Utility laborer, part time: $30,000.

 

CITY OF TRUESDALE

Salary information is from the city of Truesdale’s 2018-2019 budget, which was approved by the city’s board of aldermen in June.

Part-time police officers are not listed below. The city has $50,250 budgeted to pay for part-time officers as needed, with seven such officers currently on staff.

Aldermen: Four aldermen, $3,600.

City administrator/clerk: $56,527.

City treasurer: $29,500.

Code enforcement officer: $6,760.

Crossing guard: Three employees, $4,656.

Deputy clerk: $32,400.

Mayor: $12,600.

Police chief (part time): $18,842.

Police clerk: $5,460.

Police lieutenant: $42,640.

Public works director: Director Gilbert Nordwald is retiring this year. He will remain on payroll until December, receiving $24,351 in this fiscal year.

The incoming public works director will be paid about $27,000 between September 2018 to June 2019.

Public works worker: $21,920.

 

VILLAGE OF INNSBROOK

The village of Innsbrook has a single municipal employee. Its board of trustees and planning and zoning commission are not compensated for their time.

Village administrator/clerk: $41,600.
