The city of Warrenton is holding an open house for its plans to improve pedestrian safety on State Highway 47 on the north side of Interstate 70.The plans include land acquisition for right of way.The public meeting will be held at Warrenton City Hall, 200 W. Booneslick Road, from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, July 18, It will be an open house-style format so that participants may attend any time during the open house. There are no formal presentations.Preliminary plans, prepared by Warrenton’s engineering consultant, CMT, will be available at the public meeting and are available for public viewing and copying at Warrenton City Hall.Anyone who requires special services at the public hearing should notify Brandie Walters by July 12, at 636-456-3535 so that arrangements for those services can be made.City of Warrenton logo
