Warren County residents and business owners are invited to attend a Community Open House for the Warren County Master Plan on Wednesday, March 25, from 4:30 – 7 p.m. at the Warren County Administration Building (101 Mockingbird Lane, Warrenton, MO 63383).

The meeting will be held in an open house format with no formal presentation. The public is welcome to stop by anytime between 4:30 and 7 p.m. At the open house, attendees can learn about the planning process, review existing conditions, speak with the planning team, and share ideas for the future of Warren County.

“We are still very early in the overall planning process,” said Joe Gildehaus, presiding commissioner for Warren County. “This first open house will give attendees an opportunity to review highlights of the data and trends the planning team has collected to date. These existing conditions will provide a strong foundation of information to help shape the later phases of the planning process.”

The planning team has also prepared a video presentation that reviews existing conditions and provides an overview of the planning process. The video can be viewed at www.WarrenCountyShapingTomorrow.com or directly on YouTube at: https://youtu.be/YzVb5vLHeCI

“We are excited to hear from residents, businesses, and property owners at the open house,” said Stephen Ibendahl, project manager for the planning team. “We have had a great response to the launch of the master plan survey. In addition to attending the open house, completing the survey is another great way to provide feedback.”

The Warren County Master Plan survey will be available through the end of March and can be accessed at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WarrenCountySurvey

Warren County is preparing a new Master Plan to guide growth and development over the next 10 to 20 years. The Master Plan will serve as a long-range guide for decisions related to zoning, land development, transportation improvements, budgeting, infrastructure coordination, and more.

The master plan is expected to be finalized in late 2026. To learn more about the Warren County Master Plan and its goals, please visit: www.WarrenCountyShapingTomorrow.com
