Backers of President Donald Trump demonstrated in rallies around the country Saturday, including in Missouri. The protests were in response to the anti-Trump protests.At the state Capitol in Jefferson City, hundreds of pro-Trump backers rallied.Some of the signs said: “The silent majority stands with Trump” and “I wasn’t paid to protest here.”The pro-Trump people came from all sections of the state.Trump carried Missouri in the November election and he garnered about 70 percent of the vote in Franklin County.The Democrats failed to understand the mood of voters in the country. Trump spoke the message voters wanted to hear. Hillary Clinton and her fellow Democrats never picked up on that message.About the only reference to that by Hillary was when she said after her defeat, “We didn’t know how divided the country was,” or something to that effect.Probably, President Trump is as popular in Missouri today as he was in November. The Democrats’ efforts to discredit him will continue. And, it looks like President Trump will continue to tweet, responding to accusations from the Democrats.The president, by his tweeting, is playing right into the hands of the Democrats, who know how to ignite his anger.President Donald Trump needs to reach political adulthood!
