Prayer breakfast is February 26

The annual Marthasville Chamber of Commerce ecumenical prayer breakfast is Tuesday, Feb. 26.It will be held at St. Paul’s U.C.C., 103 South Second St., Marthasville. The event is planned by local clergy.Dr. David Reed, a two-time stage four cancer survivor, will be the guest speaker.Dr. Tim Long will give an update about the Washington Overseas Medical Mission to Honduras.The menu for the breakfast is whole hog sausage, pancakes, pastries, coffee and orange juice. Serving starts at 6:30 a.m. with the program starting at 7 a.m.The breakfast will conclude by 8 a.m.There is no charge for the breakfast. However, there will be baskets on the tables for those who want to make a freewill donation to the Washington Overseas Mission to purchase medical supplies.For more information, contact Rev. Seventh- and eighth-grade students from St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic School serve guests at the 2018 annual Ecumenical Prayer Breakfast held Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018, at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ. The benefit raised $750 for the Washington Overseas Mission.
