Police discovered an indoor marijuana-growing operation in a home's basement while executing a search warrant Jan. 26.
Ten marijuana plants were found growing in the basement at a home in the 28000 block of Karst Road, located south of Jonesburg, according to a probable cause statement.
Brian E. McGee, 35, was arrested and charged with felony distribution. Police arrived at McGee's home looking for other individuals who had active felony warrants. Police said the plants found in the home would produce several ounces of marijuana.
