Washington and Wentzville police are asking the public's help in identifying the man in these surveillance photos taken early Saturday, March 30, at Walgreens stores in both cities. Shortly before 3 a.m. the man was caught behind the pharmacy counter at the Washington Walgreens. Police believe he was looking to steal narcotics but he was caught by a pharmacist before he took anything, according to Detective Sgt. Brad Erisman. The suspect then left the store. A couple of hours later he was caught on camera at the Wentzville store where it's believed he stole a large amount of narcotics from behind the pharmacy counter. Police there said the man may have driven away in a silver or tan Nissan Pathfinder. Anyone who can identify the suspect or who has any information is asked to contact Erisman at 636-390-1059.
