A Warren County man has been charged with felony domestic assault after police say he choked and bit a woman during a physical dispute.James T. Muse Jr., 20, was charged Aug. 2 for the incident, which allegedly took place July 22 at a home on Hawthorne Village Drive in Warrenton.According to a Warrenton police report, Muse and a female at the residence became involved in physical altercation during an argument. Muse allegedly pushed the woman against the sink and began to choke her.During the struggle, Muse also bit the woman on the side of her face, according to police. The police report states the woman had red marks on the underside of her jaw and a bite mark on her cheek.Muse allegedly admitted to biting the woman.The second-degree domestic assault charge against Muse is a Class D felony, potentially punishable by a prison sentence. He has a hearing scheduled for Aug. 15 in Warren County Circuit Court.Arrest
