Police break up party, apprehend individuals including one who brandished gun

According to a recent release from the Warrenton Police Department, officers responded to a large house party in the 400 block of Walton Street March 28, at approximately 10:16 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers dispersed the large crowd without incident. A short time later, approximately 30–40 individuals from the party arrived at Fast Lane Central, where a disturbance began. During the disturbance, a subject brandished a pistol and pointed it in the direction of several individuals on scene. Officers responded as the crowd began to disperse and were unable to locate the suspect at that time.

According to the release, on March 29,  at approximately 06:10 a.m., officers responded again to the 400 block of Walton Street in reference to continued loud music. Upon arrival, officers located approximately 15–20 individuals inside the residence, several of whom appeared to be passed out. While on scene, a subject attempted to fight another individual seated in a vehicle. Officers intervened and attempted to take the subject into custody, at which point he resisted arrest and fought with officers. The subject was eventually taken into custody and transported to Warren County Jail.

According to the release, officers gathered additional information regarding the individual who brandished the pistol and were able to positively identify both the suspect and the involved vehicle. A search was conducted throughout the day in an attempt to locate the suspect. At approximately 3:09 p.m. the suspect vehicle was located traveling eastbound on Veterans Memorial Parkway, with the suspect identified in the back passenger seat. A felony stop was conducted near Refresco. Both the driver, passenger, and suspect were detained. The driver and passenger were later released to their parents on scene. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to Warren County Jail.
