Plans for Warrenton summer school announced

Select buildings in the Warren County School District will be open for summer school programs for students in and out of the district.Summer school registration opens April 2.Core curriculum will be paired with creative and advanced ways of learning to engage students.Classes begin after Memorial Day on May 29. The session will include four-day weeks, with students and faculty having Fridays off until the final day on June 28.Students will study reading, writing, math and science classes in the mornings. The afternoons will offer a more unique approach to learning, as students engage in Brick LAB Famous Architecture, Lifetime sports, strings and beads, Oceanic Exploration, Ground Drones, and other classes.Students who are entering kindergarten in the fall of 2018 can register for a hands-on exploration experience and discovery course. All students demonstrating outstanding attendance are eligible to receive recognition.Any student entering kindergarten through eighth grade is eligible to attend. Students do not have to live in or be enrolled in the Warren County School District to attend summer school.The last day to sign up is April 27.Warren County R-III School District
