Wright City held its annual Summer Splash at Diekroeger Park on July 12. Families splashed around in the sun going down the slip'n'slide, spraying with water guns and enjoying the warm July weather.
Aldermen Karey Owens and Ramiz Hakim also carried on a Wright City tradition, racing each other down the slip'n'slide that afternoon. Hakim emerged from their race victorious.
