The Warrenton and Wright City boys’ and girls’ track teams competed Friday at the St. Dominic Crusader Invitational in O’Fallon.
Warrenton, which took third on the boys’ side in the 12-team event, amassed 87 points. Wright City was seventh with 57. On the girls side, Wright City finished sixth with 65 points while Warrenton was ninth with 27 points.
First-place finishes were turned in by Warrenton’s Mason Sanders in the high jump, Markel Greene in the discus, Marcus Greene and Makayla Witthaus in the shot put, and by the 4x400 relay team. Wright City champions were Sadie Sehnert in the javelin, Makiya Harris in the long jump and Victoria Riggs in the 1,600.
