Ruge Park hosted the first annual Nothin But Net Basketball Tournament in Wright City on Aug. 10.
The event, organized by Silk Simpson and her son Jersiah Higgins, was an effort to bring basketball back to Wright City and bring the community out for a day of fun, and hoops, according to Simpson.
Proceeds from the charity basketball tournament were donated to Unite Wright City.
