Warrenton junior Matt Craven was the lone Warren County athlete to medal at the Mike Spoede Invitational on Oct. 3, which was hosted by the Warriors. He placed 12th with a time of 18 minutes, four seconds.
Other Warrenton competitors were Landon Neace (19:34, 45th), Ken Le (20:35, 58th), Easton Miller (21:25, 67th), Alexander Cutler (22:14, 74th), Noah Joens (27:20, 147th), Makenna Faubion (23:07, 26th), Ava Schneider (26:26, 47th), Payton Street (26:26, 48th), Sophie Bennett (26:26, 49th), Maria Garcia-Baquero Tapia (26:30, 50th), Malia Hopper (27:25, 52nd), Charlotte Naes (28, 64th), Madeline McAtee (32:15, 109th) and Taryn Sharp (22:07, 115th).
Wright City also competed in the meet. The Wildcats’ competitors were Liliana Wiedemeier (26:07, 29th), Matthew Johnston (20:35, 57th), Clayton Kennon (20:45, 36th), James Guinn (21:05, 64th), Kaden Needham (21:15, 50th) Frankie Zykan (21:38, 58th), Zane Webster (23:53, 111th), Greg Hansen (24:01, 115th) and Landon O’Randon (28:40, 152nd).
