The Wright City track and field team qualified for sectionals in nine events at the Class 3, District 3 meet on May 10 at Owensville High School.
Lydia Clubb was the lone district champion. She won the 400-meter dash in 1:01.46. Other sectional qualifiers were Clubb (100-meter; fourth place), the girls 4x200 relay team (1:52.29; third place), the girls 4x400 relay team (4:26.06; fourth place), Ada Ferrell (long jump; third place), Joshlyn Harris (discus; fourth place), Sadie Sehnert (javelin; third place), Kaden Cross (100-meter; fourth place) and Seth Leander Potter (400-meter; second place).
