Wright City had its annual fireworks show June 24 at the Lion's Club.
The event also featured face painting, the Bubble Bus, balloon animals, raffles and more.
"This is one great chance for the community to come together," says Alderwoman Kerry Owens. "If you look around, everybody has their chairs set up, has washers and corn holes set up. The kids have a nice safe environment where they can hang out with their friends. It's a great time for everybody."
The fireworks display began about 9:45 p.m. and drew many oohs, aahs, and applause from the assembled crowd.
