Peggy Marie Zumwalt (nee: Cerda), of Truesdale, passed away Tuesday, March 11. She was born in Spring Valley, IL on August 27, 1963, to the late Ray and Lula (nee: McMullen) Cerda.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. She is survived by her soul mate, Timmy Herndon; one daughter, Beatrice Hays; three brothers; and one sister; and life long friend that she referred to as "Mom"; other relatives and many friends.
The family is hosting a Celebration of Life for Peggy on Friday, March 14, from 5 P.M. - 9 P.M. at the MaryLou Center in Truesdale.
